The Galston District Eisteddfod is delighted to announce and introduce the 2009 Piano Scholar Kimberley Michael!

Kimberley was one of four extremely talented young musicians who, after competing in the 2008 Eisteddfod, were

invited to audition and were interviewed for the year long position. She is currently studying with David Miller

at the Sydney Conservatorium for the Graduate Diploma of Accompaniment and is also working casually as

an accompanist and soloist. Kimberley graduated from The Australian National University last year with a

Bachelor of Music (Honours), attaining first-class Honours in Classical Piano Performance.

The Eisteddfod Committee is pleased to offer this scholarship opportunity to elite Piano Competitors.

Invitations to apply for a Scholarship of up to $2000 may be given to competitors of this level and merit.
