The Galston District Eisteddfod is delighted to announce and
introduce the 2009 Piano Scholar Kimberley
Michael!
Kimberley was one of four extremely talented young musicians
who, after competing in the 2008 Eisteddfod, were
invited to audition and were interviewed for the year long
position. She is currently studying with David Miller
at the Sydney Conservatorium for the Graduate Diploma of Accompaniment
and is also working casually as
an accompanist and soloist. Kimberley graduated from The
Australian National University last year with a
Bachelor of Music (Honours), attaining first-class Honours in
Classical Piano Performance.
The Eisteddfod Committee is pleased to offer this scholarship
opportunity to elite Piano Competitors.
Invitations to apply for a Scholarship of up to $2000 may be
given to competitors of this level and merit.
